CNC Router thingy...
I've recently built my own CNC router. It's a big one... capable of handling 8 x 4 sheets and processing them at speed. It's good for set building and display stuff.... but it's also capable of cutting really fine detail. The cogs are one of the first things I cut out using a 1mm cutter. Ha ha, seems funny to have such a large machine cutting out something so small.
Anyway... i'm open for business with this. Just call me. (Zero four two one, two triple eight, two nine)

This is a chair that I cut out for a student (Violet Thornton) at QUT.
8/12/09 - The two movies imediately below are of the Mk1 version of the 'Jenga' gun, which I designed yesterday on the back of previous efforts of Matthias Wandel in Canada. I mailed him to enthuse about thsi and all the other amazing stuff he does, and he kindly sent me dimensions ofr the gun in the form of a Google SketchUP file. I'm working on Mk2 in the hope that it goes as well as Matthias's does, without the need to make hardwood parts and all the added cost implications. I'm trying to make it kid safe and entirely made on my machine as opposed to any manual input (aside from assembly). You can see Matthias using his hardwood one here: http://woodgears.ca/jenga_pistol/ It's this kind of power that I need methinks.
